Pros: Professor Grafsky is one of my favorite teachers I have had at tech. I am not a human development major and simply took this class for fun. The tests can be quite challenging and sometimes very long (90+ questions) but if you go to the review session you will know a decent number of the answers. She offers so much extra credit it is hard not to get an A in her class, even if you do poorly on her tests.
Cons: goes quickly through the powerpoints, the exams can cover 5 chapters at a time

Pros: Interesting
In-class activities
Cons: Exams are way too long. The first exam has 75 questions, the seconds 100 questions, and the final has 125 questions!!! I had to divert plenty of time away from my core classes to prepare for these exams. Especially during final week. The professor is great, but for an elective, these exams are just ridiculous.
I don't recommend taking this class unless you have to or are super interested in it. The topics are interesting but as I mentioned in the Cons section, the exams are way, way too long for an elective. I ended this class with a B- simply because I didn't have the time to prepare for a 100 questions when I need to focus on upper level core classes. The professor is great, but, again: the exams are longer than the exams in all my core classes. (BIT major).

Pros: -easy exams
-offers TONS of extra credit
-in class questionnaires boost grade
-fair grader
Cons: -sometimes seems a little scattered during lectures
Easy A class. This was the first semester she had taught this course so she was trying to figure things out, but I thought she did a great job. The exams were very fair and as long as you attend lecture and study you'll be fine. She offered a lot of extra credit that really helps! The in-class assignments were well tied to the lecture material and help you understand it better. The information in this class is really applicable to life so I thought it was a great class!
